All Around the Home

All Around the Home is a website that matches homeowners with local contractors that can handle their home renovation, remodeling or repair needs.  The service originally began by servicing the MD/DC/VA region, though it has recently expanded.

The site also offers helpful tips and articles about home improvement, as well as other resources.

The primary use of the site, however, is to find local home improvement contractors in your state, county or city.  AATH, as its known, provides listings of local firms and allows you to review each one personally, seeing their name, contact information and a description of the company.  In many cases photos and additional details are provided.  This is a bit different than other firms who simply collect your information and then sell it to multiple contractors who all call and pressure homeowners into a sale.
